About this role:
In the role of DevOps Engineer, you will be part of the team which is responsible for building different services that should enable further growth of the customer base and generally improve customer experience. You will be responsible for infrastructure and development experience with a slight focus on automation. You will constantly seek ways to improve and simplify.
Tasks
- Design infrastructure with scalability, availability, maintainability, and security on your mind
- Apply infrastructure as a code
- Collaborate with relevant stakeholders to understand the requirements in order to choose the best possible solution
- Build tools that will enable easy CI/CD
- Mentor, pair, and encourage the growth of those around you
- Take pride in writing maintainable code and seek for personal growth
- Help to recruit, interview, and generally make heyData a great home for developers
Requirements
- Min. five years of experience or equivalent in-depth knowledge in building infrastructure in the cloud (preferably using AWS)
- In-depth knowledge of building infrastructure as code (preferably but not limited to Terraform)
- Experience and a good understanding of Docker, Kubernetes, and related technologies
- Experience in working with some of ElasticSearch, MongoDB, and RabbitMQ clusters
- Knowledge of at least one programming language (Python, Go, etc.).
- Experience with monitoring solutions like Prometheus and Grafana or the like
- Knowledge of requirements to build a scalable, highly available, and maintainable system
- Constant drive to innovate and simplify
- Willingness to learn about new technologies, tools, and programming languages
- Excellent communication skills in English
