VITAMIN 2 is a design-driven communication agency based in St. Gallen, Switzerland, founded back in 2001. Adapting to the needs of our clients and customers, we moved into the digital market many years ago. In 2017, our growing digital team expanded to Belgrade, Serbia and we are proud to call ourselves an international full-service agency ever since. We are currently seeking a frontend developer, to participate in delivering features for web-based applications, enhancing our products as well as developing websites with high user experience standards. In addition, the person will be responsible for ensuring the technical parts of the products are well documented.
What you do
- Ensure we build functional, performant, scalable and solid products in a timely manner
- Lead the frontend development of some of the projects
- Combine complex technology with creative designs and interaction concepts
- Guarantee efficiency, high UX standards and compliance with common best practices
- Ensure that the used tools are well maintained and end users receive support according to need
- Write the documentation (user/software guidelines)
- Research and implement technical solutions
- Proactively collaborate with the team consisting of consultants, project managers, designers and other developers
Who you are
- Able to showcase a demonstrated experience in frontend web development
- At least 2 years' experience developing front-end applications or websites
- At least 1 year experience with state of the art frameworks
- Practical experience with code versioning (Git) and its tools (Bitbucket)
- Able to manage and maintain code of existing applications and expand it with new features (components, modules, etc.)
- Possess a high degree of individual initiative and personal accountability
- Flexible and responsive in a small cross-functional team environment
- Proficient in spoken and written English
What skills are a plus
- Familiar with PHP
- Experience with frameworks (Vue)
- Experience with CMS (WordPress, Kirby)
- Experience with Jira
- Familiar with CICD
