Join our growing team in Belgrade as a Software Engineer (Web Frontend, TypeScript, React, Cypress)
You will:
- develop and improve modern web UIs used by healthcare practitioners all over the USA as part of their daily routine
- write performant and reliable acceptance tests (Cypress) which will be run both locally and on every change as part of a CD pipeline
- take a deep dive into legacy software in order to figure out how it works so that you can create a modern replacement
- participate in all phases of exploration, design, development, testing, deployment, and monitoring, leveraging automation, CI, and CD
- take part in continuously improving the product development process and engineering practices
- participate in code reviews
- attend scheduled daily meetings but otherwise, be responsible for your own work hours
- work from the office at least the required number of days per week (currently 0, might be bumped to 2)
- take part in knowledge sharing by both teaching and learning
You are:
- comfortable writing TypeScript and/or JavaScript
- experienced with building web applications and websites using at least one modern UI framework, preferably React
- able and willing to learn both the domain and new technical skills in order to solve problems
- capable of fluent communication in English
- good at exploring and learning
- interested in owning the product(s) you are working on, monitoring how it performs in production, and how it’s hosted and deployed in the cloud
