Job Summary
You would be working on:
Application that enables communication between businesses and their customers through their preferred channels — like WhatsApp, Instagram, Facebook Messenger, SMS, Telegram, Email and more. All-in-one messaging suite helps businesses to conveniently interact with their leads, customers and teams across every touchpoint.
The stack:
- The frontend UI is built with Vue.js
- They use the CSS frameworks like Foundation for web dashboard and TailwindCSS for the live-chat widget
- The backend APIs are built on Ruby on Rails.
- Postgres is their database, Redis is used as a caching layer.
Responsibilities:
- Build reusable components for the web-dashboard, widget etc, create stories and documentation for the same
- Work on improving frontend architecture, provide suggestions on improving the frontend build pipelines
- Work closely with the designer, provide feedback to build intuitive user experiences
- Work with the customers to collect feedback and provide suggestions for product improvements
- Help building the processes, document them in the public handbook
The qualities we are looking for:
- Worked in Frontend engineering roles for at least 3 years
- Solid understanding of Javascript ES6, one of the modern frameworks (React / Vue / Svelte)
- Solid understanding of CSS
- Experience with Jest for writing tests
- Experience in writing Storybook stories for the frontend components
- Keen eye for a great design, ability to suggest UX alternatives
