Full-Stack Product Developer

This position is a hands-on, full-stack cloud software development role for an engineer with a stronger skill set in front-end web development versus back-end development. You will join our platform development group that is responsible for building and enhancing features for our IMS (Investment Management System) and EDM (Enterprise Data Management). The IMS consists of several prominent subcomponents including our OMS (Order Management System) and PMS (Portfolio Management System), Security Master, and Price Master. Our EDM is a data lifecycle and reporting product, calculations/aggregations, data entry, dashboarding, and reporting. You will be responsible for writing front-end code in the latest JavaScript frameworks as well as writing middle-tier code C# that interacts with several databases including Azure SQL Database and CosmosDb. This is a prominent role to continue our transition to platform as a service technology (PaaS) and serverless computing models.

We need you to:

  • Document technical specifications to address the requirements
  • Break down complex tasks into work items
  • Convey status/progress/blockers to senior technology staff
  • Leverage open-source tech and tools to build highly-available, scalable services
  • Develop proof of concept models to support design efforts
  • Develop reliable/reusable, cloud-scale distributed software solutions

You have:

  • Recent hands-on skillset in JavaScript frameworks (Angular/React/VueJS)
  • Proven strength in C# server-side development (REST, Web API, or GraphQL) supporting modern single-page web applications (SPA) written in Angular, React, or Vue
  • Ability to code performant SQL queries and statements for relational databases
  • Ability to work independently, apply technical problem-solving skills, and self-manage tasks
  • Ability to work on full Microsoft Azure stack 

Great if you also have:

  • Knowledge of security instruments (equities, futures, bonds, options, swaps, credit, FX) and data feeds from vendors such as Bloomberg, Reuters, IDC, Markit, MSCI, and S&P
  • Knowledge of accounting platforms used in the alternative asset management space
  • Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and hosted container PaaS solutions
  • Experience coding for public cloud (Azure or AWS)
  • Developing systems with high transaction volumes, cloud-scalability, NoSQL, unstructured datasets
  • Software performance profiling (Application insights, Prometheus)
  • Visualizations (Power BI, Tableau, and ELK stack)

Our selection process consists of an interview with the HR manager in Belgrade and technical interviews with our experts. We give our best to make our selection process as quick and as transparent as possible, up to two weeks maximum.
