About the Role
We are looking for an HTML Email Developer, to join our email marketing operations team, and who will be responsible for handling email creation and scheduling. The ideal candidate for this role is a quick learner, self-starter, and able to function well in a fast-paced work environment.
Working hours: Monday to Friday, 13:00—21:00 CET.
Contract: Freelance Contract — Independent Contractor Agreement (This means you are in charge of your health and social insurance).

What Does the HTML Email Developer Do?
- Works with HTML code to make coded email templates, as well as to create drag and drop templates within ESPs (Email Service Providers)
- Creates email campaigns or flows (automated emails) using Klaviyo, Stripo, Remarkety, or other email marketing platforms
- Sets up, tests, and schedules email campaigns with a focus on segmentation, quality protocol, and technical execution
- Troubleshoots various ESP (Email Service Provider) issues to minimize possible delays
- Conducts ESP migrations and helps ease any other platform transitions
- Monitors client accounts in Klaviyo to find areas of optimizing email performance
- Reviews existing email campaigns technical performance on new client accounts
- Timely updates clients on various tasks and responds to their questions
- Participates in client calls related to their area of expertise
- Follows standard operating procedures
Required Profile:
- Advanced English (both written and spoken), as you’ll be communicating with native English speakers on a daily basis
- Knowledge of HTML and CSS (email-specific coding experience is a plus)
- Independent and enjoys process optimization – you understand that the ideal pathway to a stable process is iteration and experimentation
- Detail-oriented and tech-savvy – you enjoy getting to the core of various technical challenges, and you double-check before you submit your work
- Responsive and reliable – you’d rather do things today than leave them for tomorrow
- Basic knowledge of Adobe Photoshop is a plus, as you’ll be working with a lot of design assets, and basic photo editing would be a good complementary skill
