Summary of key responsibilities/deliverables

As Hyperoptic scales like never before, clear, concise and consistent communication to employees is crucial. This newly created role will be responsible for content curation, production and distribution to Hyperoptic's employees across Serbia and the UK, as well as deputising for the Head of Internal Communication on wider internal communication and events.
In a nutshell, the Internal Communication Manager will deliver on a new communication strategy designed to inspire and inform Hyperoptic's employees through timely updates on need-to-know information throughout the entire employee lifecycle, creative storytelling and out-of-this-world events, enabling two-way dialogue with employees throughout.

What will you be doing?

  • Delivery of internal communication strategy
  • Development and implementation of new intranet
  • Increased focus and attention on local communication in Hyperoptic's Belgrade office
  • Employee engagement with internal communication — driving the desired outcomes, actions and behaviours
  • Performance of communication-related metrics in employee engagement surveys and at company events

What are we looking for?

  • Internal communication experience
  • Engaging office-based employees
  • Working across multiple geographies (UK preferred)
  • Content curation and storytelling
  • Proficient and eloquent in written and spoken English
  • Internal communication channel management and development (specifically intranet and enterprise social networks)
  • HR communication
  • Relationship builder, confident at liaising with senior stakeholders
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects, across a variety of stakeholders
