What would be your mission?

We are looking for a highly capable IT Support Specialist to provide technical assistance to our staff. In this role, your responsibilities will include ensuring optimal use of our hardware and software, enhancing system performance, and securing data. You will also provide advice on IT equipment upgrades.

To ensure success as an IT support specialist, you should possess extensive experience in providing information technology support in a fast-paced environment. Top-notch IT Support Specialists contribute to increased productivity by ensuring that company IT systems run efficiently.

What would be your responsibilities?

  • Providing IT assistance to staff and customers
  • Setting up equipment for employee use, performing or ensuring proper installation of cabling operating systems, and appropriate software
  • Troubleshooting platform errors efficiently
  • Monitoring hardware, software, and system performance metrics
  • Performing minor repairs of hardware, software, and peripheral equipment
  • Managing 3rd party vendors for orders and repairs
  • Maintaining Syslog
  • Developing training materials and procedures, and/or training users in the proper use of hardware and software
  • Maintaining and updating Asset inventory

What kind of colleague are we looking for?

  • 3+ years of experience in a similar role
  • Strong knowledge of computer hardware, software and networks
  • Proficiency in IT helpdesk software, such as Jira
  • Hands-on experience with Windows client OS (Windows 10) and Mac OS
  • Experience in troubleshooting and supporting DNS service, SMTP service, NTP service, Syslog
  • Experience in documenting processes and monitoring performance metrics
  • Ability to keep up with technical innovation and trends in IT support
  • Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills
  • Excellent spoken and written English
