We are looking for a talented Junior Data Scientist who will join our team in Belgrade. Our future colleague is tech savvy and likes to be challenged with complex IT problems.
The scope of your job is:
- Extract, transform and analyze large data sets using SQL, R and Python
- Collaborating with other Software Development teams to enhance predictive applications
- Working on implementation of Machine Learning algorithms and performing troubleshooting and maintaining of existing machine learning pipelines and applications
- Performing technical design and code reviews to ensure high quality of work
- Visualizing data in Power BI, Tableau, or similar data visualization tool
- Creating solutions to complex and challenging daily problems
Your qualifications are:
- Related University degree (Faculty of Electrical Engineering, Faculty of Mathematics, FON)
- At least 1 year of experience in Data Science, Machine Learning or Data Analysis
- Good knowledge of SQL
- Good knowledge of R and/or Python
- Experience in building Machine Learning models and deploying to production
- Proficiency in English
Not mandatory, but good to have:
- Experience with BI tools (Tableau, PowerBI) is a plus
- Experience with Big Data technologies (Spark, Hadoop, Hive) is a plus
