We are looking to expand our Belgrade Gowago Team with a Lead Backend Developer
You would be joining our 3 members team in Belgrade with the flexibility to work both, from the office and remotely. We take pride in our fast pace, execution excellence, and clean codebase.
Your responsibilities:
- Come up with a performant and sustainable architecture and decide on the right technology for the job
- Help solve hard problems the developers in the team are facing and perform rigorous peer-reviews on the pull requests
- Implement amazing features using state of the art coding practices and frameworks
- Write and deploy microservices and Lambda functions in your language of choice
- Setup new infrastructure elements on AWS as code
- Ensure that the codebase follows best practices including unit, integration, and e2e testing
- Define and challenge upcoming features from a technical perspective
- Mentor more junior developers and make sure that they learn and get better every day
Your profile:
- Eager to work in a young and dynamic team with a lot of freedom and responsibility
- 6+ years of experience working with web technologies on the backend
- Solid knowledge of modern backend architecture
- Very passionate about coding and technology in general
- In-depth knowledge in Typescript and is proficient in web technologies
- Engineering mindset
- Fluent English speaker
Plus but not mandatory:
- Experience in leading a team of developers
- Knowledge in DevOps with Terraform and AWS
- Experience in setting up, maintaining, and monitoring serverless architectures
- Likes cars and is interested in the transportation and mobility of the future
