Orbico Group, the leading distributor of a large number of quality globally known brands, present in 20 European markets, is extensively investing in digital transformation and is currently searching for Logistic Application Developer / 2 open positions.
Your responsibilities:
- Developing logistic applications and features that conform to best practice coding standards, make optimal use of advanced framework capabilities and have full unit test coverage,
- Preparation and updating of functional and technical documentation,
- Ability to work alone, or as a part of a team, with a clear desire to learn and improve, ability to develop quality code by the due deadline,
- Resolving problems and errors in the back-end,
- Coordinates and cooperates with the team of system administrators for the purpose of planning, and implementing for the purpose of working of logistics applications,
- Plans and manages logistics application licenses,
- Other tasks defined by the direct supervisor or by the employer,
- Supports team leaders and managers in the day-to-day operative and ad-hoc tasks.
Requirements & experience:
- 3+ experience as a back-end developer, preferably using .NET and related technologies,
- Development experience with any WMS platform is an advantage,
- You should understand REST/SOAP,
- You are familiar with MS SQL database and have used it professionally,
- Knowledge of logistics processes and applications, automation information systems is an advantage,
- Excellent verbal / written English skills,
- Excellent communication, business partnering, and writing skills,
- Strong analytical and presentation skills required to critically evaluate information from multiple sources and present it to a relevant audience,
- Able to work in a fast-paced deadline-driven environment,
- Microsoft office suite, consisting of PowerPoint, Word, Excel, Project, and Visio.
