Major tasks
- Programming of specific .NET applications with a focus on technically oriented solutions for desktop and the web in the areas of Development and Research (R&D), lighting design and product data management.
- Contribution to projects for the conception and implementation of .NET desktop solutions and online services, in order to ensure maintenance, performance and stability.
- Architecture and design of software systems in .NET & Microsoft SQL environment.
- Evaluation of technologies, frameworks, software examples and the like.
- Creation, approval and quality assurance of concepts, technical specifications, prototypes and documentation, related to the IT solutions developed, in order to ensure the maintenance, performance and reliability of appropriate IT solutions.
- Design, extension and support of interfaces from and to designed lighting solutions, as well as product data management tools.
- Ability to independently implement simpler tasks within the project with the support of mentors / senior developers.
- III level of support for technical inquiries and incidents.
Essencial know how and skills
- Studies (University or College) of information technology, electrical engineering, applied science or similar.
- Fundamental experience in the field of software concept and development of desktop computers, solutions based on the web and databases (conceptual design of information and application architecture, as well as interface, which allows flexible application and extensibility, functional software specifications)
- Experience in mathematical modeling of specifications and their application is an advantage.
- Basic project experience in quality assurance and implementation, as well as operations and support for IT desktop and online solutions.
- First experience in designing and using manual and automated testing methodologies and technologies.
- Good knowledge of software technologies C#, XML, JavaScript, (Microsoft) SQL.
- Basic knowledge and practical experience with WPF, data visualization, reporting, ASP.NET and 3D object formats are an advantage.
- Experience in working with Source versioning platforms (Git / Gitlab, Azure DevOps) as well as platforms for agile project work (Jira, Azure DevOps) is an advantage.
