NETWORK ENGINEER
The role of Network Engineer is to set up, configure, administrate and monitor our private cloud network environment with emphasis on high stability, security and redundancy.
YOUR PROFILE
We expect the candidate to be highly proficient in Linux, to have deep understanding of network protocols and network security including administration and configuration of routers and firewalls. We expect high level documentation writing skills and the ability to closely collaborate with different stakeholders – System and DB Administrators, DevOps and Information Security Team.
Requirements
- Experience with Linux system administration
- Extensive knowledge of Network Protocols and Network Security
- Extensive knowledge of Network diagnostic and network analysis
- Experience with firewalls, load balancers and microservices orchestration
- Experience with monitoring/alerting solutions (Grafana, Prometheus, Icinga etc.)
- Experience with Virtualization management (Proxmox, VMWare)
- High-level documentation writing skills
- Excellent English skills – both written and verbal
- Preferably 3+ years of professional experience
Considered a plus
- Experience with Infrastructure Orchestration tools (preferably Terraform)
- Experience with Network Automation and Network Orchestration tools
- Experience with DDOS protection tool management
- Experience with RIPE/LIR account administration
- Experience with Jira, Confluence
- Experience with Vagrant or similar virtualization tools
- University degree in Computer Sciences or Software Engineering related field
