Location: EMEA, Remote – Serbia
At GoDaddy the future of work looks different for each team. Some teams work in the office full-events or offsites. Your hiring manager can share more about this role’s hybrid or remote time, others have a hybrid arrangement (they work remotely some days and in the office some days) and some work entirely remotely.
This is a remote position, so you’ll be working remotely from your home. You may occasionally visit a GoDaddy office to meet with your team for events or offsites.
What you'll get to do…
- Design, develop, maintain and support software as a member of the Product Development Team
- Ensure software under development is managed with appropriate source code control and release processes
- Ensure software adheres to relevant coding standards and is detailed using internal systems
- Collaborate with the product managers to capture requirements, deploy and when relevant support our systems
Your experience should include…
- 2+ years of proven software development experience in PHP 7/8
- Symfony 5.4 framework expert
- Solid SQL knowledge (MySQL, PostgreSQL)
- Strong OOP skills
- Web Services (SOAP, REST API)
- Proficient English level (verbal and written)
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Good knowledge of design patterns and Git
- Focus on code quality and high development standards
- Willingness to embrace test driven development techniques
You might also have…
- HTML & JavaScript experience
- Containers/virtualization of applications
- Agile (SCRUM)
