As a PHP Developer, you will help drive our client`s web platform’s architecture that serves network of 50+ legal content sites working with a team of engineers. You will help develop a new product and improve existing services. You will be working on taking some of the bestselling apps to the cloud. We’re forming a team to build a modern application framework from the ground up.
YOU WILL
- Develop high-traffic web applications
- Implement and integrate key web components in a developer-friendly environment.
- Possess can-do attitude working with global product development teams in an Agile and fast-paced environment.
- Implement platform product features and user interfaces.
- Identify and resolve scalability and performance issues.
- Implement node utility modules to support continuous integration and deployment functions.
- Perform unit and other testing functions, as needed.
- Actively participate in project planning, solutions and technical strategy discussions, and documentation.
- Work with an established team of developers and interact with product managers, marketing teams and designers.
- Be able to complete projects with minimal supervision and direction.
YOU BRING
- You are interested in building and delivering world-class web experiences.
- You know what causes sites to be slow and how to make them fast.
- You understand and have experience optimizing sites for SEO.
- You are very good at JavaScript and PHP.
- You are familiar with MVC frameworks such as Laravel.
- You have experience with a variety of CSS and JS frameworks such as React/Vue/Angular and know how to evaluate new ones.
- You have experience implementing web analytics such as GA.
- You are very comfortable working with databases.
- You understand web security, auth frameworks, and protocols such as OAuth and know how to scale APIs.
- You can set up CI/CD for your projects and help others do it.
- You’re happy to do design and code reviews with your team, colleagues, and managers.
- You have some experience or interest in mentoring junior level developers.
- You have strong English communication skills within a professional, development context (understanding technical requirements, documentation, communicating with a global team).
- Experience with Docker/Kubernetes would be considered a plus.
