The Acme Project Manager is responsible for managing enterprise projects using proven project management best practices and techniques. You will take the lead and execute on key corporate initiatives as they are driven to completion while coordinating across multiple teams. You’ll work in and report to the Project Management Office and work with a team of Project/Program Managers and Analysts. As a member of the PMO you’ll provide detailed project plans. You’ll also work on improvements to processes and tools that facilitate the project lifecycle from discovery, release and customer acceptance.

Key Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Track and manage multiple projects with competing priorities and resource constraints through the project lifecycle
  • Create, publish, and manage detailed project plans
  • Perform Risk Assessments and facilitate active Risk Management throughout the project lifecycle
  • Conduct Earned Value Management on active projects
  • Drive project outcome and success
  • Identify and work with all stakeholders both internal and external according to a project communication plan
  • Comfortably present the status and details of your projects to executives/sponsors on a regular basis
  • Improve project processes and create project templates for those processes
  • Run and facilitate clear and effective meetings

Requirements

  • Excellent client-facing and internal written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability work well within a team environment where work and contributions are highly visible
  • Strong analytical/problem solving skills
  • Comfortable working with deliverables due on set dates
  • Solid organizational skills including attention to detail and multitasking skills
  • Experience with IT projects as well as Enterprise projects
  • Experience with MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Previous experience as a Project Manager
  • Certifications are desired, but not required:
  • Scrum (CSM, CSPO, or CSP)
  • PMI (PMI-ACP or PMP)
  • Six Sigma (Green Belt or Black Belt)
  • Must have a strong sense of ownership – owning all things within the project/program domain and executing them in a consistent and professional manner without direct supervision or micro-management
