Overview:
We are looking for Python Developer to join us in delivering the next generation of digital casino and lottery products for a worldwide audience. We are a passionate team, in the process of undergoing a technology shift.
Python Developer will join our Prototype team which is a new team in our studio and will be part of the broader Game Mathematician team. Python Developer will work with Game Mathematician and Producer to do proof of concept for the new slot games and check the feasibility of the ideas that the producer has. This is a very creative position, that requires a proactive and out-of-the-box approach and requires a basic understanding of mathematics and slot games. The new Prototype team will have a significant role in our organization as the game development process will start from here.

What you’ll do:
- Work in the Prototype team (with Game Mathematician and Producer) to do proof of concept for ideas for new games, and help Producer to decide if the game idea should be rejected or has the potential to be a successful slot game
- Use an internally developed framework that is based on Python (Pyglet library) to develop a visual prototype that will be used to play and test ideas
- Do on the fly tweaks of the developed prototype based on the producer's feedback
- Work closely with our team in Austria that developed the prototype framework and knowledge transfer to Belgrade studio
- Work on the further development of the prototype framework and new features
Must-haves:
- University degree in Software Engineering, Mathematics, or a related field
- 2+ Experience in programming in Python or a similar language. Talented and ambitious juniors are also welcomed to apply.
- Experience working with Pyglet library is a big plus
- Knowledge of the basic mathematical and probability concepts is required
- Being creative and out of the box thinking
- Being proactive and independent, willing to offer different solutions and perspective
- Team player (as understanding and collaboration with producer and game mathematician in creative process is very important)

- On-line Interview with Talent Partner
- Test – Candidates will be asked to complete different assignments in the area of programming (Python), and basic probability calculation on simple slot game example (this is required for the position). You’ll have 7 days to complete the test.
- Technical interview (CV and programming questions)
- Candidates who successfully complete this step are eligible to pass to the final round
