Our Software Development Team in Belgrade is looking for a skilled QA Engineer, who will be responsible for performing manual, automation, and API testing, to maintain and improve our software for the Chemical Industry.
The working environment will require knowledge of the Software testing life cycle.
The tools we currently use are:
- Azure DevOps/Test Plans for manual testing
- Cypress/JavaScript for end-to-end automation testing
- Microsoft SQL Server Management Studio
Experience working in a Scrum development process and knowledge of agile methodologies is an advantage.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
- Work in Scrum team and participate in meetings
- Analyze problems and suggest solutions that can be implemented
- Create detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and cases
- Perform all types of Functional testing
- Identify, document and report malfunctions and bugs found during testing
- Create, maintain, and improve automated tests
- Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
- Stay up-to-date with new testing tools and test strategies
- Work effectively and cooperatively with other team members and with other departments
REQUIREMENTS:
- 3+ years of work experience as a manual and automation testing engineer
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools, and processes
- Experience and understanding concepts of the manual and automated testing
- Experience in using bug tracking tools and test management tools (Azure DevOps/Test Plans is an advantage)
- Experience in using automation frameworks (Cypress is an advantage)
- Experience in API testing would be a plus
- Understanding of UI/HTML/Design in general
- Courteous, professional positive attitude, with a focus on solutions
- Team oriented, customer-focused, and flexible
- Self-starter with a strong desire to learn and develop
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English
