ENGINEER
Take an exciting opportunity as part of our Quality Assurance Engineering team focused on supporting Home and Consumer Audio Solutions for AVR and Sound Bar. Be a part of the team of engineers whose work has a share in more than half the audio systems on the world stage, including Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Harman, JBL and others.
We are looking for a highly motivated person, with excellent analytical abilities and attention to detail. This person would work on testing audio technologies used in commercial multimedia devices of some of the biggest names in the industry, such as: Sony, Panasonic, Pioneer, Harman, JBL.
Your role would include:
- Reviewing requirements specifications and technical design documents to create test environment for testing audio technologies including new generation immersive 3D audio such as DOLBY ATMOS, DTS-X, MPEG:H and the like
- Creating detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test cases and test plans based on analyzed specification
- Finding and reporting defects
- Creating Jenkins jobs for fully automated testing
- Continuous research and tools development with the purpose of optimizing testing process
- Preparation of chip and product level certification package, including communication with certification house and customers
Requirements:
- University degree in computer engineering, electrical engineering or computer science
- Good understanding of both QA and software development workflow
- Ability to adapt and learn new technologies
- Good knowledge of English language, both written and spoken
- Orientation towards teamwork
- Strong analytical and communication skills
- Detail oriented
Desired skills and knowledge:
- Knowledge of scripting/programming language like Python
- Knowledge of DOS commands, batch scripts writing
- Basic knowledge of at least one major software development language: C, C++
- Familiarity with Digital Signal Processors (DSP)
- Familiarity with working with different HWs
- Familiarity with Jenkins
- Familiarity with version control and CI tools
- Familiarity with bug/issue tracking tools (preferably JIRA)
- Working experience with test case management tools
- Good understanding of Agile Scrum methodology
