Role Overview:
As a Senior Fiori/UI5 – BTP Developer , you will act as an expert for SAP Fiori solutions and the further development and adaptation of SAP Fiori applications. You will advise our partners taking care of the development according to functional specifications, implementing them together with other colleagues & partner. You have the appropriate technical know-how how a solution can be implemented with SAP Fiori. You use tools from agile and traditional project management methods in terms of content implementation as well as project management.
You will have the possibility to develop in this domain and other new technologies (Mendix).
Job responsibilities
- Responsible for Cloud UI5 Development
- Proactive system improvement proposals to discuss with IT business partners
- Develop UI5 components on SAP BTP (Cloud)
- Experience in end-to-end UX development cycle especially with web development technologies like SAP UI5, JavaScript & Web frameworks, (angular, react, Vue) is must
- Develop SAP UI5/Fiori Application on SAP Cloud Platform
- Good Experience in development and extension of SAP UI5/Fiori Application on SAP Cloud Platform is required.
- Sound knowledge in SAP Cloud Platform Cloud Foundry services and architecture is required
- Experience in HTML5/ABAP ODATA/CDS, REST/JSON and XML (including debugging).
- Experience in SAP Fiori setup & configurations
- Application Security & Systems Integration
- Performs other job duties as assigned
Role requirements
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, economics or related field
- At least 2-3 years of SAP Fiori / UI5 development experience on SAP Cloud Platform / SAP Cloud Foundry and related services
- Development using SAP Business Application studio
- Good understanding of SAP Cloud integrations with SAP / Non-SAP systems & system architecture
- Should have worked with HTML5/REST/ oData Protocols & Web frameworks (angular, react, Vue)
- Excellent Java programming skills, should have worked with javascript / CSS support for multiple browsers such as IE, Firefox, Safari etc
- Familiar with Agile and Scrum methodology
- Strong personal initiative and willingness to learn new technologies
- English business fluent, Italian knowledge is a plus
