Together with our partner, we are forming a new team and we are looking for a: Senior Backend Engineer – Smart Protocol Solutions to join an engineering team of motivated, collaborative, and creative people. They are backend, frontend, DevOps, and full-stack engineers that are excited about developing innovative software. They enjoy working together to create products, but always keep room for new ideas and approaches. The Noumena Digital team in Serbia will initially have two backend and two frontend engineers with a perspective to grow up to 20 people during the following year.
Your responsibilities:
- Develop and design software in Kotlin based on Noumena's growing platform and tailored to their customer's needs.
- Work on containerized event-driven microservices.
- Design APIs for the integration of their customer's client systems.
- Contribute to their shared toolbox of software (libraries, tooling, etc.) that makes them more efficient and scalable.
Your profile:
- 4+ years of development experience, ideally in Java 11+ or Kotlin.
- A solid understanding of software testing, continuous integration, and deployment.
- Naturally curious about new technologies, and like to learn new things. You keep up to speed with developments in the world of software engineering.
- Work well in a team, and communicate well.
- Speak English fluently, and can clearly express your thoughts.
- Speaking German is an added asset although not mandatory.
