We are currently looking to recruit Senior Business Intelligence Developer for our Shared Service Centre. This position will be based in our beautiful offices in New Belgrade.
Job Summary:
gategroup is looking for a senior developer expert in BI systems and data analytics tools (summarized here as "BI" in the rest of the description) who will be able to analyze requirements and deliver suitable solutions supported by an architecture based on the best technologies and practices in the market that is reliable, scalable and maintainable. This role is global within the group. It requires significant development expertise and a strong design background including data modeling and cloud platforms.
Main Duties and Responsibilities:
- In close collaboration with the BI Projects & Products team, designs, develops and implements appropriate BI solutions (including architecture) aligned with business requirements, functional and technical specifications.
- Implement, follow technical standards, best practices and IS implementation standards as member of the BI development team.
- Evaluates new BI technologies and software to assess, in conjunction with the BI Projects & Product team, the viability and opportunity to implement them within the group.
- Attend and take part in meetings/lead workshops related to assigned responsibilities, such as workshops to define the technical architecture of the BI solutions to be implemented, based on the functional specifications.
- Structure and ensure the updating of BI solutions in his (her) scope (Documentation, source codes, application versions, technical components …).
- Correct any technical issues affecting the operation of BI solutions.
- Guarantee the performance of BI solutions in conjunction with the Operations teams.
- Support the BI Projects & Product team during the testing phases inherent to these activities.
- Ensure the implementation of technical solutions in line with the regulations, laws and procedures in place in connection with the relevant legal departments.
- Provide all the technical information required for the exploitation of BI solutions by the Operations teams.
- Set up and administrate the BI technical environments (Dev, UAT, Production) in close collaboration with the Operations teams.
- Implement BI solutions in line with the SLAs.
- Ensure the software implementation and indicators to measure / monitor the use of the IS in close collaboration with the BI Projects & Product team.
Qualifications
Education
- Engineering school or university degree in the IT or/and BI fields.
Experience
- At least 4 years of project development experience in various technologies with strong analytical skills.
- Significant experience in the design and development of BI solutions within an international and multicultural group.
- Very good knowledge of database environments (especially Oracle), database optimization techniques and data modeling.
- At least 1 year experience on cloud platforms such as AWS and Azure.
- Experience with data analytics tools and machine learning.
- Experience communicating with stakeholders (operational and managerial).
- Experience of design of SQLServer (mostly), Oracle and PostgreSQL Databases.
- Technical knowledge in ETL tools as Informatica, SSIS.
