In line with the Eurobank Direktna a.d. strategic objectives to modernize and digitalize its business operations and in accordance to the Group standards, the Bank IT Division is hiring an IT Project Manager as one of the critical roles in the Bank’s transformation journey. The main responsibilities of this role encompass acting in accordance with the Project Management best practices and Eurobank Direktna methodologies. The role is to manage IT migration, upgrade and transformation projects aimed at improvement of Banks systems and processes in accordance with technical standards and business needs. This role is expected to demonstrate excellent project management and communication skills. Wide knowledge of the technology landscape and business domains is instrumental for relevant identification and implementation of the operational goals Additionally, the job presumes maintaining a positive relationship with all business and technical stakeholders and utilizing the expertise of other IT professionals, analysts, architects, vendors and development teams in order to adequately scope, manage and monitor IT projects of the Bank.
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Responsible for planning, management, coordination and controlling of IT projects through the whole project lifecycle on a daily basis
- Defines project objectives and deliverables, gets support for the projects
- Keeps track of project progress, quality and objective fulfillment
- Identifies, maintains and tracks any project delays, scope changes, implementing risks
- Preparation in testing phase, co-ordination and tracking
- Communicates, presents and is the first point of contact with project vendors and other internal and external project stakeholders;
- Participates in coordination of IT Projects Portfolio in coordination of IT Budget preparation
- Contributes to the IT Risk Management and Change Management process
- Prepares project information, reports and analyses; including top management reporting on large projects
- Implements new project management practices
- Defines initiatives for improving project management process
REQUIREMENTS:
- Experience with large IT and migration projects, while Asseco stack would be considered as advantage
- Capacity to manage large scope projects with cross-functional stakeholders
- University Degree in Organizational Sciences, Project Management, Economics, or Computer Science (with additional project management training)
- Excellent knowledge of project management methodologies (PMP / Prince2 / Agile certifications preferred)
- 3+ years of work experience, IT project management preferred
- Very proficient in MS Office, especially skilled in MS Project
- Proficient use of English language
