fuentis PDT was founded as a Berlin-based start-up in 2013, with the goal of providing integrated GRC solutions. Today, the company is located in Berlin, Hamburg, and Belgrade. Our product:
fuentis suite is a complex management application comprised of different modules. The focus is on the management of information security (ISMS) by employing different frameworks and applying different standards. Last year we have started with a major reimagining of our product in order to move toward Cloud solutions. Our new version comes with a lot of new challenges and our team needs reinforcements, so this time around we are looking for a Senior Java Developer
Your responsibilities:
- Estimate and own delivery tasks (design, dev, test, deployment, configuration, documentation) to meet the business requirements
- Drive code/design/process trade-off discussions within the team when required
- Perform demos/acceptance discussions in interaction with Product owners
- Develop a complete understanding of end-to-end technical architecture and dependency systems
- Drive adoption of technology standards and opinionated frameworks, and review coding, test, and automation work of team members
- Mentor and guide new and less-experienced team members
- Identify opportunities to improve the overall process and trim waste
Your skills:
- Java 5+ years
- Excellent knowledge and expertise in the use of Core Java SE and Java EE (JEE) technologies.
- Excellent knowledge and expertise in the use of Spring framework, including Spring Core, Spring-Boot, Spring MVC, Spring gateway, Eureka, Redis
- Knowledge of OO, Enterprise Design Patterns, and Enterprise Integration Patterns.
- Good knowledge and expertise in the use of Web-services based on REST, and a good appreciation of RESTful Design Principles and RESTful APIs (including how to make them secure).
- Experience in working with Maven & Git
- Experience in working with MySQL, MSSQL, and MongoDB
- Understanding of data structures and algorithms
