What you'll do
- You will be responsible for the implementation of IT projects (BI & Data Warehouse solutions) in the areas of finance/controlling/HR/company management with confidence, strong communication skills and distinct consulting competence from the very beginning, and this in the function of chief designer and/or project manager.
- Together with your colleagues, you will advise our customers, analyze business and technical requirements, and design BI systems based on the SAP portfolio.
- Supporting the business unit and its customers with questions regarding dashboard technology
- In a predominantly agile environment, you will accompany your projects from kickoff to handover to operations throughout the entire project lifecycle.
- In the role of Senior Consultant, you will take responsibility for the project and the team.
- You will support and carry out sales activities in the acquisition of new customers, thus making a significant contribution to success and further growth.
- Through training, project presentations and our internal and external technology events, you will constantly pass on your knowledge to colleagues.
Who you are
- You have a successfully completed degree (e.g., business informatics) or comparable training
- 5+ years of professional experience as SAP BI/BW/BO consultant or key user (m/f/d) of modern SAP analytics products
- You have (several years of) project experience in the DWH & Data Management environment, ideally with the SAP product portfolio (BODS, HANA SQL DWH, BTP, BW or DWC).
- You are an innovative driver for topics around SAP BI/BW/Data Warehouse, SAP BW/4HANA, HANA native or SAP Cloud technologies (SAP Data Warehouse Cloud, SAP Analytics Cloud or S/4HANA Analytics)
- Common modeling standards such as LSA++, DataVault 2.0 as well as programming in ABAP and SQL are familiar to you.
- Experience with HTML, CSS and JavaScript programming.
- Experience with dashboard tools (like Power-BI, Microstrategy etc.)
- You successfully bring your knowledge of SAP Analytics products and your business understanding to the customer
- you have already been responsible for (partial) projects in the past and can thus always balance quality, costs and budget
- You understand the "big picture" in the consulting business – have been able to gain many insights into different industries and company departments and ultimately successfully develop and implement strategies for customers
- You have a trained eye for customer needs and experience in the systematic analysis of project requirements.
- you successfully bring your knowledge of SAP Analytics products and your business understanding to the customer
- The environment around SAP is familiar to you and your comfort zone! Even projects with intersections to other areas can and will not scare you.
- It is natural for you to pass on your knowledge to Junior colleagues
- Very good knowledge of English and good to very good knowledge of German
