Job Overview:
The Senior Sitecore Developer role within the Optimizely practice at Perficient is a senior level role who will be responsible for executing high quality solutions for customers and contributing to the day-to-day technical excellence of a delivery team. You should have a deep understanding of the software development life cycle, Optimizely development best practices, and possess the ability to implement and execute standard software architecture patterns. You should also be a strong Optimizely developer who is comfortable in taking on any technical challenge or task with confidence and efficiency.
You may be providing best-fit architectural solutions and be responsible for defining scope and sizing of work. You may provide solution architecture to solve for the business problem, platform integration with third party services, as well as design and develop complex features to fulfill the business needs of our clients.
You will get to collaborate with some of the best talent in the industry to create and implement innovative high-quality solutions. You will also contribute in a variety of roles in thought leadership, mentorship, systems analysis, architecture, design, configuration, testing, debugging, and documentation. You will challenge your l eading-edge solutioning, consultative and business skills through the diversity of work in multiple industry domains.
As a Senior Sitecore Developer, you will be responsible for technical delivery and major architectural decisions around projects. You will be working in small / medium sized teams on projects mainly based on Sitecore solutions. You should have a passion for working in a creative, dynamic environment, with other engineers and partners in an Agile environment. At Perficient, you will be working with a fast-paced development team to build, implement and deploy web applications and services using the Microsoft platforms including .NET, Azure, Visual Studio, C#, IIS, PowerShell, ASP.NET, ADO.NET, JavaScript and SQL Server. Using Agile techniques, you will be responsible for turning business requirements into technical solutions that delight our customers.
Perficient currently has a career opportunity for a Sitecore Developer in our Sitecore Accelerated Services unit, located in Novi Sad, Serbia, or working remotely within Serbia.
Requirements:
- Passionate coder with at least 2 years of development experience on the Microsoft ASP.NET stack, and at least 1 year of development experience on the Optimizely platform with superior code quality
- Expert-level knowledge of modern technologies and software development practices and patterns Must be located in Serbia
- Excellent oral and written communication skills Strong interpersonal and teamwork skills
- Must be flexible to new situations and challenges
- Significant, demonstrated experience and expertise in the following technologies: Sitecore Experience Platform
- ASP.NET MVC/Web API
- Object-oriented/architectural design patterns
- Infrastructure design and DevOps
- Modern front-end development
- Git and Gitflow
- Expertise in software architecture and design patterns including Helix
- Strong consulting and communication skills. Ability to work effectively with various organizations in pursuit of problem solutions
- Proficient in authoring, editing and presenting technical documents Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field
- Must be open to travel

- Practice strong configuration management and version control

- Ability to work independently with a focus on first-time quality without requiring excessive review by more senior team members
- Engage with business stakeholders to understand required capabilities, integrating business knowledge with technical solutions

- Production of client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans and well documented code
