We are looking for talented Software QA Engineers.

The successful candidates will join our 80+ team of highly skilled developers at Selerant, Belgrade office.

What you will be doing?

  • Work with developers and business analysts to identify requirements to be tested
  • Design tests based on previous requirement analysis
  • Identify and analyze software defects, document them according to best practices
  • Execute manual regression and acceptance tests as needed
  • Depending on the team allocation, perform automation testing or participate in setting up and customization of customer environments
  • Maintain health of test environments
  • Create and maintain testing data

What do you bring in?

  • University degree in computer science (or equivalent)
  • Minimum one (1) years of working experience in software testing, manual and/or automation
  • Good understanding of both QA and software development life cycles
  • Experience with HTML, CSS and XML
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
  • You could tackle several tasks at the same time
  • You are your biggest critic
  • You possess “get things done attitude”
  • You are independent worker but you can identify the exact point in time when you should ask for help
  • You are open-minded for learning new technologies and processes
  • You trust your instincts and are ready to “break ground” with new ideas
  • You feel comfortable when your day is well organized and you know the exact way how to do it

If you don’t tick all of the above boxes, don’t worry. We would still love to hear from you. We also value if you have knowledge or experience in some of the following areas:

  • Experience with relational databases (MSSQL or Oracle preferably)
  • Knowledge of OOP languages, C# preferably
  • Knowledge of Selenium
  • Experience with Web Applications development process
  • Experience with other types of testing (unit, performance, security)
  • Experience with Microsoft tools like Visual Studio, TFS, Azure
  • Shift left testing methodology knowledge
  • Strong analytical skills, systematic approach and independency in fulfilling duties
  • Ability to interact and communicate effectively with a wide variety of technical, functional and management staff

Interview Process:

Phase 1: Candidates will participate in an Interview with the HR Manager (30 minutes) after which they will be asked to take a test about testing methodologies, specific testing tools and technologies. Test will be followed by short evaluation.

Phase 2: Candidates will participate in an Interview with QA Lead Engineer (60 minutes) during which they will be asked about Phase 1 test specifics, their working experience and even to perform some form of testing.
