TeleTrader d.o.o. is part of baha Group, a software company specialized in stock market data and financial analysis, offering a broad portfolio of tools for the processing, visualization and analysis of stock market data.
We are looking for a Junior Java Developer who will join a web project targeted to data scientists with interest in finance and trading algorithms. The web project allows users to code online/offline and coding contests are organized on a regular basis. The project is resource intensive and the successful candidate will be able to cooperate with the rest of the team and scale our current cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities:
- Work on the core of our platform and improve the current codebase used for user authentication, data handling, algorithm submission and scoring and user ranking and payout flow.
- Implement key metric indicators for analyzing the user experience.
- Take ownership of the entire codebase and system.
- Collaborate with the team and optimize the current cloud infrastructure for scalability and speed.
Requirements:
- Experience with Java development and Spring (SPA, REST, Security)
- Experience in applications using microservices architectures
- Interest in a project at the intersection between finance and data science.
The Stack:
The frontend is written in JavaScript with React. The backend API is written in Java and backed by PostgreSQL. Data pipeline is built in Python (Django) and data scientists are submitting Python code to the contests.
