For our team in Belgrade (work from home possible), we are looking for a Senior Project Manager. You will be responsible for the successful implementation of customer projects, primarily in the Banking sector.
Responsibilities
- Manage project resource allocation and provide direction and support to the project team.
- Ensure that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and budget.
- Develop project objectives and scope while ensuring technical feasibility.
- Develop a detailed project plan, constantly monitor and report on the progress of the project.
- Plan, maintain and optimize project finances.
- Track project tasks, report, and escalate as needed.
- Lead, moderate and represent the project internally and externally, e.g. in the execution of project steering committees and their preparation.
- Manage client relationship and handle stakeholders.
- Perform risk management to minimize project risks.
- Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation.
- Presales and sales support.
Job requirements
- University degree in the field of management or information technology as well as an entrepreneurial mindset.
- Formal project management education and/or training. Possession of certificates such as PMP, PRINCE2, IPMA, SCRUM Master or similar is preferred.
- 5+ years of experience in managing complex IT development programs and projects. Demonstration of success in project management of extensive and challenging implementations and migrations in Banking sector.
- Knowledge of software engineering methodologies, practices and tools (Software Development Life Cycle, release management, configuration management, document management, issue tracking, quality assurance, etc.).
- Excellent client-facing and internal communication skills.
- Strong organizational skills including attention to detail and multi-tasking skills to motivate people.
- Experience in managing complex teams consisted of more than 50 members divided into mini and micro teams.
- Ability to coordinate several projects at the same time.
- Domain knowledge in Banking is preferred.
- Experience with Atlassian stack, MS Project and other PM and task tracking tools.
- Excellent verbal and communication skills in both Serbian and English.
