System Infrastructure Engineer

THE OPPORTUNITY

Within Atos, Atos Technical Foundation (TF) is a strategic business line supporting the growing market-demand on digital transformation. Technical Foundation (TF) delivers technological excellence directly to its end-customers through local presence, integration of partners’ products and maintenance. With dedicated sales and presales teams, TF has its own Go-to-Market and can support other business lines with infrastructure services building blocks and skills or expertise across the whole IT projects lifecycle.

To support our customers, we are recruiting a System Infrastructure Engineer.

THE ROLE

As a System Infrastructure Engineer, you have the technical knowledge to build architectural designs, review technical architecture designs and also commercial skills, to optimally present DC and cloud solutions to customers. You have the skills to implement and integrate IT systems, to maintain, administer and optimize production systems and provide customer support.

THE REQUIREMENTS

You need to have technical experience in Data Center Technologies (Server, Storage, Virtualization, Network, Backup, OS Linux and Windows), experience in Private / Public Cloud solution, strong in customer communications and able to build a positive customer relationship.

Above all, you are a hardworking person that takes ownership of his/her work and show perseverance to reach the desired result.

YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES

• Design, implementation and integration of IT systems
• Maintenance, administration and optimization of production systems
• Translate customer requirements into a high-level design
• Support for Server, Storage, Virtualization, Network and Backup infrastructure and tools, Linux (RHEL, Centos, Ubuntu, Oracle Linux …) and Windows server environment (Active Directory, Group Policy, MS Office 365 …)
• Cloud migration and deployment of customer application environments

Knowledge and experience:

• At least 2 years in similar roles
• A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Technology, Computer Information Systems, Computer Applications, Engineering, or a related field.
• Certificates in relevant fields
• Knowledge of virtualization technologies (VMware, Microsoft, RedHat …)
• Knowledge of backup solutions (Veeam, HYCU …)
• Designing and implementing scalable enterprise solutions in one (or many) of the following areas: IaaS, Private / Public Cloud environment, migration services / tools
• Azure/AWS Public cloud knowledge and experience – advantage
• Monitoring and alerts management
• Independence in performing tasks
• Ability to think analytically and solve problems
• Adaptable through balancing various priorities and be flexible to perform different tasks as required by the nature of business change.
• English – high level
