Be in charge of building our new back-office: research client needs and competition, take our old app into consideration, reimagine the old features and use the opportunity to create the new ones
You will:
- Do product discovery: talk with internal and external stakeholders, research competitor apps, understand the old back-office
- Do product delivery: make sure the team has clear instructions what to make, do weekly design meetings with our UX designer, prepare JIRA tasks and be available for additional questions
- Provide appropriate UAT: make sure that stable code reaches production in small increments and get stakeholders’ feedback quickly
- Make sure the Confluence documentation is up to date
- Prepare demos for clients after each phase
- Own JIRA board, keep tasks well defined, take care that everyone delivers
- Facilitate communication between team members when needed
- Keep long-term and short-term plans
Requirements:
- Proactive personality, drive to experiment and grow, curious – there is no right way to do stuff, you have to be brave enough to imagine and try
- High user empathy
- Background in IT (product or project management, QA, development)
- Highly organized
- Familiar with the software development life cycle
- Knowledge of agile methodologies
- Experience with task management tools
- Ability to write good project documentation in English
- Strong decision-making capacity
- Productive thinking, solution offering
- Good English skills – both written and verbal
Counted as a plus:
- Experience with JIRA
- Experience with any prototyping tool
