Android System Software Engineer

The engineers will be developing, maintaining and integrating embedded software for automotive platforms and products. IVI (In Vehicle Infotainment) platforms (Qualcomm, TI, NXP, etc) and customized boards will be used throughout the development. Projects will be targeting very well-known international automotive companies and project teams will be cooperating with foreign teams.
Your Tasks
- Analysing SW requirements and making a proposal for the solution
- Implementation and documentation of the solution
- Integration of the 3rd party SW to the Android system
- Tailoring and configuration of Android
- Reading & interpreting full system logs
- Communicate issues to the partners
- Perform qualitative coding, code commenting, debugging, bug fixing, and other related activities in accordance with company coding conventions, approved designs, and project standards
- Follow the agreed team or project processes and procedure
Your Profile
- University degree in computer science or electronics engineering
- Experience in the Android System configuration and tailoring (Android application and services Native and Java, understanding the Android Build system, Android system configuration, Sepolicy configuration)
- Knowledge of Linux (Linux low configuration, serial communication, Dts/Dtsi tailoring according to hardware setup)
- Experience with AOSP build system
- Proficient understanding of git
- Documentation writing
- Proficiency in Java, C++, C
- CMake
- Cyber security concepts
- Threading and performance tuning
- Understanding of architectural patterns and know to apply
- Communication and writing English
This would be great, but not mandatory:
- Knowledge of Gerrit
- Boot-loader and board bring-up experience
- Knowledge of Kotlin
