JOB DESCRIPTION
As a part of our team, you will use state-of-the-art technologies to bring a future vision of the automotive world. The solution that your team is developing introduces advanced services enabling connected vehicle concepts and novel use-cases.
You will collaborate with a diverse international team of experts and have an opportunity to work on multidisciplinary projects related to advanced vehicle diagnostics. These projects cover multiple disciplines and technologies, including embedded hardware and firmware, desktop & mobile apps, and cloud-based services.
IN YOUR DAY TO DAY JOB YOU WILL:
- Develop and maintain Continental’s automotive Software solutions using C# (development, testing/debugging, integration, analysis etc.)
- Use .NET mechanisms for relational DBs (EF, LINQ)
- Participate in agile workflow (including effort estimation, code reviews etc.)
- Support other colleagues with own technical expertise
- Propose new and better solutions, be proactive and display ownership of your codebase; capable of leading features form start to finish
- Collaborate with other developers, project manager, SW architect and other stakeholders
QUALIFICATIONS
- University Degree (i.e., Engineering, Computer Science)
- Professional software development using .NET technologies for 3+ years
- Experience with development frameworks: .NET 5
- Good understanding of OOP and experience with design patterns
- Experience with ORM libraries, Entity Framework preferred
- Experience designing, maintaining, and enhancing database performance
- Fluent in English
- Ability to understand complex project documentation
- Self-motivated and self-organized
WOULD BE A PLUS
- Knowledge of professional software engineering practices and agile development practices
- Experience contributing to the open-source software or mentoring others
- Experience contributing to the architecture and design (design patterns, reliability, and scaling)
