We are an international, Malta-based company looking for a qualified Frontend Developer to join our team in the Belgrade office. SiGMA World is a legal entity of Foxpom d.o.o.
You will be working closely with our backend developers, graphic and UX designers, as well as our team leads on creating, developing and maintaining our brand’s websites and other web-based applications aimed at B2B and B2C audiences.
The ideal candidate should be adept at building the client-side of our web applications and able to translate our company requirements into functional, responsive, user-centric applications. The end goal of Frontend Developer’s efforts is to successfully combine an array of functionalities with appealing visual design to ensure great user experience.
Responsibilities:
- Determine the structure, layout and design of web pages
- Ensure the alignment of web design and UX requirements
- Develop features that improve user experience
- Create quality mockups and prototypes
- Devise an optimal user journey for our website visitors and clients
- Optimize web pages for maximum efficiency, speed and scalability
- Make sure our website and other web-based applications are mobile-friendly
- Maintain brand consistency across all web pages
- Strike a balance between functionality and aesthetics
- Liaise with backend developers regarding coding and troubleshooting
Requirements:
- 3+ years experience of HTML, CSS, jQuery
- 3+ years experience with WordPress administration and templating
- Strong experience in UI/UX
- Experience with implementation of Adobe XD / Wireframes
- Experience with Agile a strong asset
- Experience in PHP, mySQL and object-oriented programming is an asset
- Experience using a source control management system (Git preferred) is an asset
- Experience leading partial projects and mentoring junior admins and designers
- Experienced with handling multiple competing priorities and shifting focus quickly
- An aptitude to deeply understand business processes
- Experience deriving technical requirements from non-technical sources
- An aptitude and willingness to learn new technology quickly and adapt to technology changes
- Strong communication skills also across teams – you will work with the design team very closely
- Ability to manage multiple projects at one time to meet deadlines
- The ability to work independently and as part of a team
