The Role
Strawberry is looking for junior embedded electronics engineers. You will be joining our R&D team in charge of developing new products, new features and generally creating cool stuff. Your job will include designing hardware, sourcing components, developing schematics, managing layout, programming microcontrollers, testing prototypes, etc.
Responsibilities:
- Develop/build new features (HW and/or SW) from scratch.
- Designing hardware, creating technical specifications
- Sourcing components,
- PCB development (developing schematics, managing layout)
- Testing prototypes to validate both hardware and software
- Research and implement new technologies that provide competitive advantage
Requirements
- Ability to work independently, think creatively and produce “outside of the box” solutions
- Experience with MCU (like Arduino, RPi, etc)
- Experience designing electrical PCBs and embedded products.
- Experience in schematic entry and PCB layout.
- Familiarity with design, integration, and electromechanical / mechatronic systems.
- Familiarity in design for EMC, reliability, and manufacturability is a plus.
- Familiarity with embedded interfaces (UART, I2C, etc.) is a plus.
- Familiarity with wireless technologies (Cellular/WiFi/Bluetooth/BLE) is a plus.
- Familiarity with computer networks and linux is a plus.
- General tinkering with electronics experience is a plus.
