Together with our partner we are looking for a QA Automation Engineer to join the Ovi PRO project, to generate and provide feedback on test status, test progress, process quality and product quality, but also to work on improving the entire process as a whole. Ovi PRO is a housing ecosystem in Finland which aims to revolutionise the Real Estate Industry, with a completely web-based system which provides a platform for handling real estate assets, such as apartments or land, functioning as a portfolio manager for different assets. Ovi PRO handles the buying and selling part of the process, making it the one-stop shop for all real-estate related services.
Your responsibilities:
- Understanding, implementing, and updating the Test Strategy and the testing processes
- Able to develop detailed, comprehensive, and well-structured test plans and test cases
- Liaise with development teams (developers and product managers/ owners) to identify system requirements
- Able to develop test scripts, test infrastructure and automation for software products
- You can ensure best practices are used in test automation development
- Coaching other team members in relevant aspects of testing
- Ensuring proper use of testing tools by the developers
- Maintaining test specifications and documentation
- Effort estimation for tasks
- Reporting defects and working with the team to resolve them
- Measuring and reporting test coverage across all applicable coverage dimensions
- Configuring, using, and managing test environments and test data
Your profile:
- BSc or MSc in Engineering or equivalent degree
- 2+ years in software QA automation position
- Strong knowledge of software QA methodologies, tools and processes
- Advanced API testing knowledge
- Working with tools such as Visual Code, Robot framework and Github Actions or comparable tools from other vendors
- Experience in AWS services and server-less architecture is a plus
- Knowledge and experience in using agile working methods
- Strong analytical skills and strong attention to detail
- Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
