The Marketing Technology (MarTech) team creates and integrates digital tools, applications, and websites that enable Kinsta’s Marketing Department to streamline workflows and achieve marketing goals and objectives.

A MarTech QA Specialist is responsible for ensuring solutions being delivered by the Marketing Technology team are free from bugs and errors and meet specified requirements. This includes but is not limited to Kinsta.com, Kinsta Academy, and other custom tools and applications being developed internally for the Marketing Department.

Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and continually improve the QA standards and testing procedures.
  • Create test plans and perform manual testing to ensure our web properties are error-free.
  • Identify and analyze issues, bugs, defects, and other problems, particularly when problems recur multiple times; help facilitate solutions to these issues.
  • Participate in sprint planning and assist in developing the acceptance criteria on user stories for features being built for the website and other properties.
  • Assist with ensuring delivered solutions meet identified accessibility requirements.
  • Assist in the production of documentation for our marketing team in relation to managing and using features developed for Kinsta’s web properties.

Requirements:

  • You have at least 3 years of experience in the Tech industry.
  • Experience manually testing websites or applications.
  • You have experience writing test cases and identifying acceptance criteria.
  • You have an understanding of HTML from a semantic structure perspective.
  • We are open to considering candidates outside of your typical QA-specific role: a former developer, project manager, tech support, or digital producer who might be looking for a change!
  • Experience with accessibility compliance is a bonus
