Who are we looking for?

We are looking for a Senior HR Manager to join and lead our Human Resources department.

The senior HR Manager’s responsibilities include overseeing the recruitment process, designing company policies, and setting objectives for the HR team. You will also help shape our employer brand strategy. To be successful in this role, you should be familiar with HR technology, including payroll systems and Applicant Tracking Systems.

The human resources department is a critical component of any business. HR responsibilities include payroll, benefits, hiring, firing, and keeping up to date with state and federal tax laws.

Your Main Responsibilities:

  • Liaising with recruitment agencies and negotiating terms or direct recruitment.
  • Negotiating salaries, contracts, and working conditions
  • Source, build a pipeline of candidates – Participate in 2nd round interview to ensure that we get the right people and skills into the business, in support of the company’s strategic direction.
  • Reorganize recruitment process, setup recruitment strategy targeting seniors
  • Manage LinkedIn account
  • Coach HR Business Partner
  • Manage hiring approval process
  • Work pro-actively with staff and managers to resolve any employee relations concerns early on. Give guidance and support in line with company policy and legislation.
  • Conduct performance improvement, disciplinary and/or grievance investigations and meetings in line with legislation and company policy
  • Manage the Maternity process and hold maternity briefings with managers and staff, as required
  • Keep up to date with developments in employment legislation and HR best practice, knowledge sharing with the team to ensure continuous improvement in the service offered
  • Conducting regular weekly HR meetings with the team leads.
  • Provide support to employees in various HR-related topics such as leaves and compensation and resolve any issues that may arise
  • Backup payroll process – Salary review and bonus payments process as required including salary benchmarking

Requirements and skills:

  • 10+ years of experience as a Senior HR Manager or similar role in the IT industry
  • Hands-on experience with Human Resources Management Software (including payroll systems and ATS)
  • Solid understanding of labor legislation
  • Excellent communication abilities
  • Leadership skills
  • Ability to foster healthy employee relations

Masters’ degree in Human Resources or relevant qualification.
