Role Summary
The Senior Manager Finance Systems is responsible to ramp up IT competencies to support the growing footprint of finance applications and its global deployment. This role will need to leverage knowledge in finance and technology to partner with our finance and business stakeholders in evaluating business objectives and needs, current operational procedures and financial systems to formulate and execute a roadmap for financial systems modernization.
The near-term focus is on the implementation and support of a new system for Month End Closing, Budgeting and Consolidation including the integration into ERP systems and other relevant data sources.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the implementation and global deployment of a new Month End Closing, Budgeting & Consolidation system on the IT side.
- Work with the Enterprise Architecture team and IT Service Owners to establish the technical architecture for finance systems.
- Evaluate, interpret, and design information and data flows from source to reporting to ensure system capabilities meet business requirements.
- Partner with various finance teams and system owners to develop the system integration approach and execute the integration plan.
- Manage a team of technical experts around ERP and finance systems incl. integrations into those systems.
- Work with the functional department and other business stakeholders to formulate and execute the roadmap for finance systems.
- Act as a senior escalation point on application & integration issues, oversee & manage the problem solving, providing direction for own teams, functional departments and external service providers.
Education, Knowledge and Work Experience
- Bachelor and/or Master in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems or a related field OR equivalent working experience.
- 5-7 years of work related experience.
- OneStream and ERP integration experience is an asset .
- Very good English language skills (written and oral).
- Solid German language skills (written and oral) are of advantage.
Key Qualifications/Requirements
- Strong understanding of global finance processes.
- Management experience and practical experience in leading a team.
- Excellent understanding of the functional capabilities of Month End Closing, Budget & Reconciling Systems eg. OneStream, Oracle, etc.
- Demonstrated proficiency in managing projects of medium to large scale and implemented change initiatives as a technical expert.
Additional Information
Regular Travel between 10-25%.
