We are currently looking to recruit Senior Manager IT Transitions for our Shared Service Centre. This position will be based in our beautiful offices in New Belgrade.

Job Summary:

Reporting to the Global Director Infrastructure, Security & Operations, the Senior Manager IT Transitions works closely with the service infrastructure design and operations team as well as business and IT stakeholders to ensure a smooth build, transition, change and release of infrastructure services from the design stage to operations.

The position is also part of IT and business projects managing the transition and execution of infrastructure related activities and services within the overarching project organization, maintaining an effective communication and alignment with all participating project divisions.

With a diverse knowledge of Infrastructure services and project management methodologies the Senior Manager IT Transitions ensures the delivery of medium to large scale Infrastructure implementations according to agreed milestones responding as well to dynamic developments and changes during the implementation phase.

Main Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate internal resources and vendors for a flawless execution of multiple projects
  • Ensure all projects are delivered on-time, within scope and within budget
  • Lead services transitions handed from design until successful implementation and handover to operations
  • Develop detailed project plans to monitor and track progress
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs and their technical impact
  • Develop relationships with key business stakeholders, actively manage expectations and monitor satisfaction levels, serving as a key point of contact and trusted business partner
  • Perform risk management to minimize potential risks
  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation
  • Track project performance, specifically to analyze the successful completion of short and long-term goals
  • Meet budgetary objectives and adjust project constraints based on financial analysis
  • Use and continually develop leadership skills managing the team of infrastructure transition managers
  • Participate and support vendor selection and service contract negotiation, provide technical input of service capability, technology standard, risks, benefits and facilitate decision making.
  • Ensures that all changes are documented, approved and that documentation is updated to reflect the current status

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in information technology or equivalent
  • 10+ years or working experience in IT Infrastructure
  • 5+ years of working experience in project management
  • 5+ years proven management experience within a global matrix organization
  • Proven track record of broad industry experience and excellent understanding of complex enterprise IT landscapes and relationships
  • Proven leadership, communication, and management skills.

Work Experience:

  • Experience of working with multiple third-party vendors and service providers, strong customer focus.
  • Experience with working in the airline catering industry and food services spaces is ideal.
  • Experience with structuring complex problems and delivering insights and recommendations.
  • Experience with using tools (e.g., Microsoft Project and PowerPoint, etc.) and techniques for planning, organizing, monitoring, and controlling projects.
  • Strong ability to adapt project plans to external changes and guide technical teams throughout the service transition to operations.
  • Strong project management skills with the ability to complete multiple, simultaneous, time-critical projects.
  • Ability to work cross-functionally with diverse groups and senior-level management.
  • Possession of excellent strategic and tactical communication planning and execution skills.
  • Accuracy oriented and enjoy working in a fast paced, dynamic, results-oriented environment.

Technical Skills: (Certification, Licenses and Registration)

  • Strong understanding of Service Integration and Management Techniques.
  • Strong understanding of ITIL and IT Service Management platforms.
  • Proven track record of technical skills in at least 2 infrastructure disciplines.
  • Understanding of all infrastructure disciplines including their internal and external dependencies.
  • Excellent PowerPoint slide creation and presentation skill.
  • ITIL Foundation Certification is must.
  • PMI / Prince II Certification is preferred.
  • MCP & MCSE Certification is preferred.
  • Experience with Agile IT Infrastructure is a plus

Language / Communication Skills:

  • Business fluent in English (written and spoken).
  • Advantageous to have local language fluency in one or more of the countries in Europe, APAC, NA, LATAM region.
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to partner with diverse stakeholders range from CxO to business counterpart & IT user.
