Summary of key responsibilities/deliverables

An expert in the CPE and Value-Added services domains. Leading and developing team responsible for the technical ownership of Hyperoptic's customer device portfolio (routers, ONTs) and the VAS platforms including the ACS, BTR and Managed Wi-Fi along with supplier relationship management.

What will you be doing?

Leadership

  • Contribute to the development and overall execution of the business ITNO strategy.

  • Identify process, system and workflow improvements to enhance the team's efficiency.
  • Lead by example and maintain high colleague engagement levels, fostering cross functional collaboration and developing a high-performance continual improvement culture across the teams.
  • Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders and suppliers.
  • Willingness to share skills, knowledge, and expertise. Lead by example, take on-board and manage junior medior members with the similar expertise and background. Provide feedback to mentees on their progress, manage and monitor their work and development together with the line manager.

Technical Ownership

  • Coordination of activities for the implementation, testing and road-mapping of Hyperoptic's customer premise device portfolio, including in-home experience
  • Development and implementation of value-added service platforms including the ACS, Built-to-Rent Wi-Fi, Managed Wi-Fi, IMS, OSS etc.
  • Support and Maintenance of the devices and platforms including L2 support
  • Encourage company's digital transformation by empowering business stakeholders in their switch to comprehensive and integrated software solutions and the profound transformation of business and organizational software utilization with an aim to maximize company's efficiency, business intelligence and compliance.
  • Support the team in analyzing business and technical requirements and proactively coordinate facilitation activities between business stakeholders, technical teams and suppliers to help them better understand each other, ensure that all solution aspects are considered, requirements properly formulated and met.
  • Manage the relationship with the suppliers, work with people on different levels across 3rd party organizations to deliver and help implement the requirements provided by the stakeholders. Take an active role in managing the implementation of new features and facilitating the integration of various solutions with other systems such as the OSS, ACS, Home Analytics and BTR Wi-Fi product.
  • Ensuring that configuration specifications, change requests and user requirements are properly documented, a knowledge base holding valuable information on how the business uses these systems to help train and educate the users built.
  • Define the testing roadmap and identify and implement improvements, e.g. automation
  • Work with Customer Service teams to improve diagnostics and support activities
  • Monitor technology evolutions and industry standards and recommend changes to improve customer experience and how we manage our CPE base and VAS services.

What are we looking for?

  • University degree in Computer Science or Telecommunications
  • Proven experience in leading teams within an ISP or Telco organization
  • People management and leadership experience
  • System implementation, maintenance and data migration experience
  • Experience in delivering change
  • Experience in implementation of Telco projects and customer premise device management incl. TR-069, SIP, ethernet, IP and broadband technologies related knowledge
  • Ability to engage the business and build strong relationships
