Right now, we are looking for a DevOps engineer!

Your main responsibilities:

  • Administration of Linux servers, including setting up new systems;
  • Responsible for regular software / security updates and patches for OS, application servers, Java runtime, databases, and similar software components;
  • Administration of infrastructure, focusing on AWS, including VPC, IAM, EC2 instances, Firewall, Mailservers, load balancers, RDS, DNS entries etc;
  • Consulting / supporting the development team regarding infrastructure choices, especially on AWS;
  • Handling of certificate tasks, like ordering new certificates, renewal, configuring of subdomains, etc;
  • Administration of databases, especially Oracle;
  • Infrastructure monitoring 24/7;
  • Supporting, improving and updating the system stack OS (Linux), App-Server (Apache, java, wildfly, database), AWS technology;
  • Security tasks, monitor and classify CVEs, implement solutions;
  • Creating and configuring environments (new, PEN-Test);
  • Supporting Dev team (bug fixing, basic scripting knowledge, search for solutions,…);
  • Supporting business team (input for bids,…);
  • Supporting support team (support customers with technical problems, where appropriate);
  • Supporting security team (answer questions, support PEN-Tests, fix findings);
  • Backup/restore data;
  • AWS setup for Linux servers, MongoDB databases, setting up domains, working with load balancers;
  • Managing ReactJS, NodeJS, TypeScript, and Golang applications with Docker through AWS image repos;
  • Documenting whole DevOps procedures for setting up the environments and later on working on scripts to automate the process;

If you want to join us, here is your skillset and profile:

  • Passion for learning and working with others to improve yourself, the team, the product, the company;
  • Knowledge of Agile/Lean/DevOps methodologies and strategies and experience with agile software development, modern DevOps practices and release cycles;
  • 2+ years of experience in distributed cloud-based software development with strong automation mindset;
  • Experience in building CI/CD pipelines for code builds, automation, and deployment to multiple platforms, experience administering source, and/or CI/CD tools;
  • Knowledge of administering code versioning / code merge tools. Knowledge of standard branching/merging practices in distributed version control tools;
  • Experience conducting vendor evaluations, product proofs of concepts, pilots and enterprise implementations;
  • Knowledge of financial services concepts, practices, and procedures, with emphasis on payment processing ecosystem, platforms, and integrated applications and system;
  • Ability to initiate and foster collaborative relationships as well as demonstrated commitment to promoting diversity in the workplace;
  • Strong organizational skills along with outstanding written and verbal communication skills;
  • Hands-on experience with Amazon Web Services and Azure as well as Linux sysadmin experience;
  • Demonstrated strong and effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills;
  • Bachelor’s degree and two years of related work experience OR a comparable combination of education, training, and/or experience;
