In line with the Eurobank Direktna a.d. strategic objectives for continual development of its business operations and in accordance to Group standards, the Bank IT Division is opening the following new position:
NETWORKING ENGINEER
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Performing analysis of network, security and QoS needs and contribution to design, integration, installation, maintenance and administration of hardware and software including routers, switches, firewalls, intrusion detection/prevention systems and voice infrastructure.
- Analyzing, troubleshooting and correcting network problems remotely and on-site
- Maximizing network performance by monitoring performance; troubleshooting network problems and outages; scheduling upgrades; collaborating with network architects on network optimization.
- Securing network system by establishing and enforcing policies; defining and monitoring network access.
- Reporting network operational status by gathering, prioritizing information; managing projects.
REQUIREMENTS:
- Considerable experience in network administration and security
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent
- Cisco certification (i.e. Routing & Switching, Security or Voice)
- Experience with Cisco security products and technologies (Next Generation Firewall, Web Application Firewall, Intrusion Detection and Prevention systems, Privileged Access Management/Control, etc.)
- Basic knowledge of Cisco collaboration products and technologies (CUCM, Video conference, Webex)
- Advanced level understanding of routing and switching technologies (EIGRP, BGP, OSPF, VLAN, VRF, STP, QoS)
- Knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems
- Experience with network monitoring tools such as Nagios, Cacti, NetFlow analyzer, Zabbix, Elastic
