Project Overview:
We are looking for a talented Junior JavaScript (Angular) engineer for the Cricut project. As a junior engineer for the Web Team, you will join our world-class desktop development team and lead senior software engineers in web development using Angular 9, JavaScript, ES8+, HTML5 and CSS3 (to name a few languages). You will build new UI components, help drive development and architecture with the team, and work with other software departments, QA and UX teams to deliver new functionality for Cricut's next generation of web and desktop apps.
Requirements:
- Upper-intermediate level of English, good communication skills;
- 1+ years of professional experience in software development;
- Skilled in Angular 9, JavaScript, ES8+, HTML5, CSS3;
- Experience in test-driven development, automated testing, and the use of testing frameworks;
- Experience with Electron, Webpack, NodeJS, NPM, SVG;
- Experience with Less/Sass CSS Pre-processors;
- Designing and developing reusable, testable front-end components;
- Desire to learn cutting edge technology to solve complex business problems;
- An appreciation for good design, and the desire to translate visual ideas into working, efficient code;
- Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills;
- Passion for quality and close attention to details;
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills;
- Aptitude to independently learn new technologies.
