Automotive Software Test Developer
Are you passionate about highly advanced embedded software? If yes, then this role might be just for you. You will develop automated tests according to well established international standards and work for some of the most prominent brands in the automotive world.
Your Tasks
- Development of test cases in area of embedded SW for our autonomous driving platform
- Development of embedded code for automated testing in C
- Development of test scripts and tools for automated test generation in Python
- Responsibility for setting up and maintaining test benches and automated test environments
- Analysis of errors, collecting symptoms and bug tracking
- Participating in the review process of both architecture and tests
- Coordination of testing activities with development teams
- Enhancement of test methods and test processes
Your Profile
- University degree
- Basic knowledge of embedded programming
- Programming knowledge in C and/or Python
- Very good command of English; German is a plus
Preferred skills and knowledge:
- ISTQB certification beneficial
- Experience in test automation, embedded software development and hardware-related testing is preferred
- Knowledge of source control system (e.g. GIT or SVN) is beneficial
- Experience with different issue tracking tools and frameworks
