We’re looking for Android developers to join our talented teams in Bratislava, Košice, Prague, Brno, Budapest, or anywhere in the world remotely. If you’re enthusiastic about clean code and have a background in Android development we welcome you to apply and learn more about our growing community. We’re currently hiring various skill levels and value a strong foundation of analytical thinking and determination to learn. In a senior position, this job will also entail leading a team of junior developers and providing feedback where necessary. What you’ll do
- Writing and maintaining code for a variety of projects in fintech – including blockchain startups, scaleups, and large corporations.
- Provide supplemental architectural designs: MVVM/Clean Architecture.
- Manage the fragment and activity lifecycle.
- Support ongoing projects by implementing new features.
- Plan out and provide support for UX design.
- Share your knowledge and experience with your team.
- Test features and fix application bugs.
A great Android developer should have
- Strong understanding and experience with Kotlin.
- Experience with Android Jetpack libraries: Navigation, DataBinding, WorkManager, LifeData, Room.
- Knowledge of frameworks such as Retrofit, Moshi, Glide, Lottie.
- Experience with unit testing.
- Understanding of intuitive UX design.
- Background in supporting the whole lifecycle of Android apps: initial setup, development, building process, and distribution to end users.
- Strong intuition for problem solving and process improvement.
- Ability to clearly and concisely communicate your thought process.
- Advanced English language skills.
