We are looking for: BI Business Consultant in Banking Industry
Responsibilities:
- Organize and execute assigned BI projects according to client’s requirements
- Continuous communication with clients in order to fully understand and determine nature of their business as well as requirements and potential new features
- Precisely define project scope, project plan, required resources and deadlines based on client’s requirements and internal resource availability. Track and forecast all dependent aspects such as time invested, finances, etc.
- Work closely with assigned project team to ensure that all deliverables are delivered successfully and on time
- Follow up, and escalate gaps, issues and enhancements identified throughout the project
- Creating a detailed functional specification, business analysis, outlining problems, opportunities, and business solution
- Testing developed software and reports with client (UAT)
- Implementing and configuring agreed solutions
- Presenting solutions in written or oral reports and organizing training for end users and other consultants
- Helping clients and efficiently give support for implemented solutions
- Preparing documentation and presenting progress reports to clients, team leader and GET management
About you:
- You have at least 3 years working experience in Business Consulting, Project Management in IT or Business Analyst roles
- Previous experience working in banking industry, understanding of terminology and concepts
- You have worked closely with the clients in order to understand their needs and find the best way to address them
- You are dedicated to finding ways to increase the quality of provided services and solutions
- Experienced in lean and agile development practices, yet comfortable with documentation
- Being able to analyze information, visualize, conceptualize, document and solve problems by making decisions that are sensible and data-driven
- Being able to meet deadlines
- Being able to analyze financial aspect of current projects and forecast future activities
- Being able to explain technical information in non-technical terms is essential
- Being able to identify and mitigate risks
- You have excellent organizational skills
- You are an avid and passionate user of technology and software in general
- You posses an analytical mind with problem-solving abilities
