We are looking for a Full-stack Senior Java Engineer to join our Darts-ip IT Team in Belgrade. The team consists of 11 people and is reporting to the Director, Head of Tech for IP Litigation. We have a great skill set in Full-stack development and we would love to speak with you if you have skills in Java 11+/Spring/Hibernate/Angular/GCP/Python.
About You
- 5+ years of professional experience as full-stack Java Developer
- Technologies
- Java 8+ (Tomcat / Spring Framework, Spring Boot, Hibernate, JPA, JSF, PrimeFaces)
- Infrastructure: Docker, Kubernetes, Terraform
- Angular
- MySQL, Elastic Search
- Bitbucket, Maven, TeamCity, SonarQube, YouTrack, Confluence
- Education
- At least Bachelor's degree in computer science
It would be great if you also had . . .
- Python knowledge is a big plus
- Cloud services: GCP: Kubernetes, Compute Engine, Storage, SQL, Stackdriver, etc
What will you be doing in this role?
- Efficient search through massive datasets
- Integration of various external data sources
- UI-design clear and intuitive ways to display relevant information to different types of users
- Design and implementation of document process flows, involving a lot of human and AI input
- Design solutions adapted to many different languages
- Integrate with solutions developed by our in-house Data Science Team
Product you will be developing
Darts-ip is a leading Legal Tech project based in Brussels, Belgium. With more than 8 million cases, our AI powered database is the de-facto global source of case law information in the field of Intellectual Property (patents, trademarks, etc). Darts-ip's core mission is to make global Intellectual Property case law available and easily searchable for our customers through a SaaS application. Our global IT team is responsible for developing and maintaining this application and all associated services.

- 1 Tech Lead (located at Belgium)
- 1 Senior Software Engineer / Cloud Engineer (located at Belgium)
- 4 Senior Software Engineer (located at Belgium/Serbia/Czech)
- 3 Software Engineer (located at Belgium/Austria/Serbia)
- 2 QA (located at India)
Hours of Work
It is a full-time job and working hours can be between 9am to 7pm with a total of 8 hours. Flexible to start at 8am and finish at 4pm, or 10am to 6pm.
